The New England Officiating Combine, held April 17–19 in Simsbury, CT, brought together a select group of officials focused on advancing to the junior and college levels.
This collaborative effort between the New England District and Massachusetts provided participants with a high-level development experience that included on-ice sessions, classroom instruction, and one-on-one evaluations supported by video review. Officials received direct feedback and a clear roadmap to guide their continued growth into the 2026–27 season.
With a limited group of just 20 participants, the camp offered a focused and personalized environment designed to challenge and elevate each official.
“Opportunities like the New England Officiating Combine are what help officials take the next step. Exposure, evaluation, and development in one setting are key for anyone looking to move into junior and college hockey.”— Gene Binda, Founder of Ref’s Crease
We’re proud of the commitment shown by everyone involved and look forward to seeing their continued progress on the ice.
